How can i Get involved?

The first place to start is by worshipping with us. As you do so, you will come to know us better and we will get to know you. Secondly, find a Bible study, home fellowship or prayer meeting group to get plugged into. These small gatherings provide a great way for us to get to know each other even better in a more relaxed and leisurely environment.

Within time, we pray that this will start to feel like ‘home’. When that happens, you might start to notice something that needs to get done ‘around the house’. Or, you might start to feel that it’s time to take on some of the ‘work.’ Ask if you can help out or what needs to be done. If your eyes are open and your heart is willing, our Father will provide a place for you to serve His children in His house.

Get to Know Us
Each one of us is unique and blessed with special gifts from the Spirit, if we are in Christ. The Bible says, “As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10). There are many opportunities to use spiritual gifts for the glory of God at Horizon Christian Fellowship, from Horizon Kids’ Ministry to parking to hospitality. These opportunities are listed below. If you are interested in getting involved in any of these areas, please reach out to us at horizonhburg@gmail.com. While we praise God for each individual who feels led to serve within the body of Christ, some of the listed opportunities are technical and require some prior experience or pastoral approval, while in many areas you just must know Jesus Christ as your Savior.
